International M.A. Program in Statistics

During the last decade there is a dramatic increase in the size and complexity of data collected by both Industry and the Academic community. The availability of such vast quantities of data is expected to affect almost all academic disciplines as well as workings of the general economy. The ability to analyze and draw meaningful conclusions from these data is becoming ever more important. The Department of Statistics at the University of Haifa offers  an international master level program in Statistics in order to train its students as professionals in this domain. The program is designated for students from universities and colleges in Israel and from abroad who have a Bachelors (BA/BSc) degree in Statistics or a related field such as Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering. The one-year program is taught in English over 3 consecutive semesters.

Head of the program: Prof. Philip Reiss
